Event Description
World AIDS Day (WAD) is commemorated every year on 1st December in order to raise awareness and support people living with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) though as a Nation we are commemorating it on Tuesday, 3rd December 2019 this year.
The theme for this year is “Communities Making a Difference Pressing Towards Ending AIDS”.
Please note that the national event this year will be held in Lusaka. This event will be characterized by a march past and it will be preceded by a candle light service at a venue to be advised.
