Offenses, Section 51

  1. Evasion of contribution payments
  2. Late remittance of contributions
  3. Making false statement or representation
  4. Failing to register within the specified period
  5. Failure to disclose information requested or furnishing false information
  6. Obstructing any Inspector, officer or servant of the scheme in the discharge of his duties
  7. Failing to produce documents required without lawful excuse
  8. Deductions of contributions from the member in excess of the required amount
  9. Contravenes any other provision of the Act

Penalty for Breach of the Act

Liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand penalty units or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three(3) months or to both

The penalty above applies in addition to addressing the offense that has been committed
